Thoughts on leadership #1

I’ve been deconstructing the idea of leadership in my mind lately. It comes from observances of colleges, churches, communities and other various gatherings of people, I’ve watched and engaged with. Maybe, we can communicate to find something different/meaningful and, or, that the idea that we had all along was the right one to begin with.

I’ve been to several places that indicate that everyone needs to be a leader. Logically, if everyone is a leader, then no one is a follower. If no one is a follower, how can anyone lead? How can you be a Christian and be a leader if the first comes last, and, the last comes first? If we’re to be leaders in our communities, then, isn’t the proper response to become the greatest follower?
