My name is Mike Friesen. I am 24. I am a student, a son, a brother. I write because I am a Christian and I feel like this gives me something to say. This is my bleak attempt to write about how to describe my life, how I see faith, and the world.

Thanks to Michele Miklos who is my daily life-saver in saving my daily disasters of writing errors and poorly used word structures.

Great blog, very interesting work. I look forward to reading more of it. I’ve just started a blog myself, if you’d like to check it out: http://www.gebyldig.com. It is one facet of my walk in faith.

I have enjoyed your posts – well thought out and expressed. I am also drawn by the Seinfeld reference that *I* see – Festivus, a holiday for the rest of us.

  8. You have a lot of wisdom for only being 24 years of age, Mike–wisdom beyond your years. Thanks for choosing to share it with the world. Keep seeking and writing!

  9. Glad to have found you. Thanks for following me on Twitter. See you out there…

I enjoy your blog. I agree with the comment earlier that your writing is “engaging and thought provoking.” I do happen to agree with the content (at least so far). As I am reading more I am impressed with the depth of thought and Spirit evident in your writing. What you share comes across as truly and clearly inspired! Blessings on the journey!

  11. Totally agree with the comments above. I’m loving the blog! You sound like you share many of the same sentiments and frustrations as me. Keep it up.

Thank you for a fresh take on the world. You’ve inspired me to get blogging too – whether my take can be so fresh remains to be seen.

Thank you for your kind words! I think that a sincerity of heart and an honest seeking paves the way for something to inspire. If you recognize it in me, it’s because you first recognized it in yourself.

  13. So thankful to have stumbled on your blog, by way of a friend in Chicago. I don’t remember either she or I being quite this focused at 24! Keep up the great work Mike.
